WTB Hears Dramatic Story Views Movie in March
Come join WTB and friends to hear about how women changed the course of history, ending a civil war in Liberia. WTB will watch a documentary, “Pray the Devil Back to Hell,” which tells of a campaign by Liberian women to bring peace to their society. Muslim and Christian women alike came together to pray and do silent vigils outside government offices.
Their courage and advocacy led to a resolution of the conflict.
After the movie, we’ll have a chance to discuss it together. Come join us on Sunday, March 21 at 3 p.m. Men and older children are welcome to join you to see the movie.

WTB Plans A-OK Weekend of Volunteering for September
When the devastation of 9/11 was over, many of us vowed to do something to bring the world closer together and to help people feel less alienated. That feeling gave rise to the start of WTB.
So what better way to mark the anniversary than with volunteers of all ages working together Sept. 11-12, 2010, sharing “Acts of Kindness” (A-OK). This will be a community-wide weekend of service with activities such as food drives, clothing collections for refugees, clean-ups at parks or free health clinics.
